Booked it for 2 days and had a fine experience. Booked a room for proper air circulation. Location: the hotel was just next door to the centre of Bogata where all the good restaurants, bars and tours are and the British embassy. Chapinero district was worth staying in.

I had a really great stay at Hotel Maceo 55. The entire hotel was fairly clean, and the room was comfortable and bright. The staff was very nice and really kind, some of the best in Bogota. I truly enjoyed the rooms for proper air circulation. The location was great for visiting cafés and bars close to the property.

This hotel is in a great location, close to everything and on a quiet street just off of a main road. the staff are very friendly and helpful, willing to go out of their way to assist guests, like arranging taxis and accompanying guests to the police station. the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. the area around the hotel is safe and there are good public buses to key tourist spots. There are also some hidden gems of coffee shops and restaurants nearby.

The walls in the hotel are a bit thin.

The owner was super friendly and sorted out a room for my son and his girlfriend with very little notice. The overnight staff, Josefina, provided jaw-dropping service and allowed me to check in late and store my luggage after check-out. The room was clean and matched the photos, with good wifi and a flat-screen TV with some channels. The location felt safe, with 24-hour reception and security. There was a great snack bar next door. The staff went above and beyond, even helping me with a stolen passport, and the hotel was reasonably priced.

The room had Wi-Fi and a flat screen cable TV, and the bed was lovely. Breakfast offered plenty of goodies. The location was great, right by good restaurants, bars, and tours, near the airport, and with easy access to the bus stop into town.
